
Rivers state Governor, Siminilayi Fubara has revealed his experience in the activities of the 2023/24 Legal Year which began with a rededication service on Thursday at the St Cyprian’s Anglican Church,Port Harcourt.
Taking to his verified X handle@SimFubaraKSC on Friday, Fubara wrote;
“Yesterday, I attended the opening of 2023/2024 legal year and re-dedication church service that held at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Hospital Road, Port Harcourt.
“Thereafter, I joined members of the Rivers State Judiciary in a Special Court session to mark the commencement of 2023/2024 legal year.
“It was rewarding as I used the opportunity to assure of my administration’s support to improve the efficiency of the Judiciary in our dear state”
The event also saw the governor exchange pleasantries with his predecessor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
It was the first public event that caught the attention of most Nigerians after the gale of impeachment and the bombing of the main bowl of the state Assembly complex a fortnight ago.
