
More commissioners have resigned from the government of Siminilayi Fubara of Rivers state.
They are Alabo George Kelly, Works, Isaac O
Kamalu Finance and Inimie Aguma, Social Welfare.
The three commissioners in their separate letters to Governor Fubara thanked the governor for giving them the opportunity to serve.
For Aguma,her reason for resigning was due to personal and pressing issues. For Kelly it was conscience , personal philosophy and professional ethics while Kamalu stated no reason for tendering resignation.
The three members of the State Executive Council who resigned from office this evening brought to 5 the number of SEC members who have dumped the Fubara government today, although this publication gathered that no fewer than 11 commissioners may have ditched the government.
Those who earlier left were the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice,Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor and Emeka Woke, the Commissioner of Special Duties.
