The Rivers State caucus in the NASS has asked the member representing AsariToru/ Akuku Toru Federal Constituency in the National Assembly Hon Boma Goodhead to immediately apologise to her former principal, Nyesom Wike
The caucus described Goodhead’s behaviour as unprofessional and gutterish
It will be recalled that Goodhead had publicly challenged Wike, her benefactor through whom she rose to the House of Representatives for a third term.
Leading a protest in support of Governor Siminilayi Fubara in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital during the past week, Goodhead reportedly threatened the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT using unprintable words and even dared him to step foot on Rivers soil.
Also, the federal lawmaker in a video which went viral within last week accused the former governor of the state of heinous crimes prominent among which is the murder of DSP Bako Angbashim .
Angbashim died in September during a gunfight with cultists led by 2 Baba,a wanted kingpin in the Ahoada East local government area of the state.
Infuriated by her uncouth behaviour, the State caucus in a statement signed by its leader, Rt. Hon. Dunamenne Dekor said ,
“Goodhead went far beyond her calling by delving into a political issue that has no bearing with her person as if she has a personal beef with her former principal for eight years.
“As a caucus we can’t sit and watch our members openly display and utter words that smirks of gutter behavioral patterns.
“Hon Boma Goodhead should immediately tender an unreserved apology to her former principal.
“Those whose palm kennel was cracked by a benevolent spirit must not forget to be humble” it said.
