The Federal Government has listed a number of companies participating in its 50 percent transport slash it promised Nigerians at Yuletide.
The government has also listed the routes for participating companies under the scheme.
According to Bayo Onanuga,a presidential spokesman on Thursday, the companies listed are GIG( God is Good) Chisco Transport,Young Shal Grow,God Bless Ezenwata, and Area Motor .
On Wednesday Solid Minerals Minister Dele Alake in a press conference in Abuja on said the presidential intervention of a 50 percent slash on road transport is a demonstration of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the welfare of Nigerians and easing their movement this Yuletide.

The federal government has also impacted travellers using the rail services with a 100 percent waiver for the intervention scheme running from Thursday, December 21, 2023 to January 4, 2024.
The development comes as transport fares hit record high levels in the country following the removal of fuel subsidy on May 29,2023.
