President Bola Tinubu has suspended the National Coordinator and chief executive of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) Mrs Halima Shehu .
Shehu’s suspension is with immediate effect according to reports.
The President has also named Dr Akindee Egbuwalo, as her replacement in acting capacity .
The development comes about three months after her appointment was confirmed by the Senate.
Shehu was the National Coordinator of the Conditional Cash Transfer Programme at the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development from 2017 to 2022.
