represented by Mr Dele Alake performed the ground breaking ceremony of the $250m project on the 12th of October 2023.
“The project is owned by Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited and marks a major breakthrough for the solid mineral sector as the administration seeks to ensure Nigeria moves from a raw material producing nation to one where value addition becomes priority.
“The new plant is expected to create thousands of jobs and have a positive impact on the economy ” the statement added.
