The Super Eagles of Nigeria are currently at the Presidential villa for a civic reception in their honour by President Bola Tinubu
The Men National Football team arrived in the country early Tuesday morning after their final encounter with the Elephants of Côte D’voire on Sunday in the just concluded African Cup of Nations AFCON hosted by Cote D’voire.
The Eagles who participated in all rounds of the tournament scoring goals however failed to win the final of the AFCON.as they were beaten to a second place by the Ivorien team.
Reports indicate that all members of the team but Alex Iwobi arrived in the country.
Iwobi, was a victim of cyber bullying immediately after the last match and he was said to have contemplated exit from the Super Eagles team.
