Maria Labake, Former Acting National Chairman of Labour party said the incumbent Chairman, Julius Abure pushed her out and forged her Signature.
Speaking on Arise TV program on Friday afternoon,Labeke said she was addressing a meeting of NEC of the Labour party when Abure , who was the National Secretary at that time pushed her out of her office and said he was now in charge.
On alleged forgery of signature,Labeke said the best the party could do at the moment to ascertain the truth would be to go to the bank and find out the signatures on the cheques Abure used in withdrawing money after the death of the former National Chairman,Alhaji .Abdulkadir Abdulsalam
She added that punitive actions should be taken against those found guilty.
Abure has been in the eye of the storm over allegations of fraud by the National Treasurer of the party, Oluchi Oparah.
Oparah had accused the embattled National Chairman of gross misconduct and fraudulent cash withdrawal from the coffers of the party running over N3bn. She also alleged attempts by Abure to entice her to accept a car and cash gifts from him . But appearing on National TV,Abure denied the allegations
