Bandits on Saturday morning abducted no fewer than 19 Tsangaya Students at Gidan Bakuso in Gada Local Government Area of Sokoto state.
The attack which was seen primarily as a reprisal for the recent military cleansing of bandits hideouts is coming a few days after bandits abducted 287 school children of LEA primary and secondary school in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State.
Tsangaya is the traditional Islamic Education system in Hausa land .
Current matters gathered that the bandits invaded the town around 1am on Saturday,shot one person and also abducted a woman.
Meanwhile, the number of abducted students has yet to be verified although it was gathered that no fewer than 19 students are missing .
