Team Nigeria has registered 6 goal medals in different categories of wrestling in the ongoing African Games in Ghana.
Mercy Genesis opened the winning streak by defeating Mohammed Nada of Egypt 7-1 in the 50 kg women’s category.
The second goal medal came through Christiana Ogunsaya who defeated Nogona Bakayoko of Cote D’voire 11-0 to win the goal medal .
Adekoroye Odunayo and Kolawole Omolayo also won goal medals in 57kg and 62kg categories respectively.while Blessing Oburududu and Reuben Hannah Amuchechi also won goal in 68kg and 76kg .
