The Labour Party, LP has re-elected Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the party.
Abure was declared winner at the party’s convention that was held on Wednesday at Nnewi, Anambra State.
He was re-elected amid running battle with the Nigeria Labour Congress( NLC and its President,Joe Ajaero.
The Labour party had picketed the Secretariat of the party last week to demand the sack of Abure over non inclusion of workers in the party’s National Working Committee.
But, Abure countered the NLC claim saying that the law is clear that the labour leaders had no right to picket an organisation where they do not have workers .
