Popular Actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo finally gave up the ghost yesterday according to a post by the National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN,Emeka Rollas on Thursday morning.
The actor and three of his colleagues were reportedly travelling back from a movie location on the Delta State axis of the River Niger on Wednesday when they drowned following a boat mishap.
Shortly after the incident, Junior Pope was revived as his fingers moved and said to be receiving medical treatment. A viral video showing an army of sympathisers in a location where he was being attended to attested to the claims of his revival.
But on Thursday morning,Rollas confirmed the eventual death of the popular actor and another of his colleague.on his Instagram page
He wrote, “It is so so sad that our joy was shortlived.
“My first post was out of excitement when we noticed his tingling fingers. Two notable hospitals tried their best to revive him but to no avail.
“God knows the best. We finally lost him.
“Mr. Friday corpse has been identified but three other corpses are yet to be found.”
