…..As APC says “We Do not Recognise Na’abba ‘s Ruling” , Describes Suspension As Criminal ,Vows Dire Consequences.
The High Court in Kano State has stopped the Suspension of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC,Dr Abdullahi Ganduje
The ruling came 3 days after an order by Justice Usman Na’abba affirming the suspension of Ganduje and restrained him from performing his duties as the National Chairman of the party.
The Ganduje ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State had allegedly suspended Ganduje over corruption issues
However, the National Working Committee NWC of the APC said the alleged suspension was the making of external forces as those who purportedly announced the suspension were at the national secretariat of the party to denounce the suspension.
According to him, all the Executives and members of the Ganduje ward and the legal officer one Haladu who purportedly announced the suspension, was at the party secretariat and clarified that he did not authorise the suspension of the National Chairman.
Speaking on Arise TV on Thursday in the wake of the ruling stopping the suspension of Ganduje, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka said that Ganduje remains the National Chairman of the APC.
He reiterated that those who reportedly announced the suspension of the National Chairman are impostors and are not recognised members of the APC adding that the court does not have the locus standi to adjudicate on the matter –
Morka said that the party will not recognise the earlier court order suspending Ganduje because “we do not have legal notice relating to the matter”.
He said that Ganduje remains the National Chairman of the party and that when the dust settles, there will be consequences for the culprits.
