The Fouchee Community in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State has sent Felicitations to the Governor of Rivers State,Sir Siminilayi Fubara on his boldness take on projects which scared administrations before him.
The community In a statement on Tuesday, signed by His Royal Highness, King Adolphus Crawford Blakk – Iwerima,Dokuboye – Ekine vi,Odome 1, Amanyanabo of Fouchee and Chief Ibiminji Komabo Jack – Pilot,Head of Da Pokiaye – Fubara Compound and Secretary,Fouchee Council of Chiefs cited projects such as the Trans – Kalabari road and the Emohua – Kalabari road and other aspects of governance in the state.
The community promised to support the Sim Fubara administration’s agenda to transform the state.
“The Amayanabo of Fouchee Community, the Council of Chiefs and the good people of Fouchee Community in the Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State heartily felicitate with the People’s Governor of Rivers State, Ama-opusenibo, Sir Siminialayi Joseph Fubara on his one year anniversary as Governor of Rivers State.
“We also thank the Governor for his boldness and resolve to take on the Trans-Kalabari Road that had scared successive administrations , even when its importance has never been in doubt.
“The people of Fouchee Community are not in doubt that Gov Siminialayi Fubara is divinely put in office to deliver Rivers people from a free fall in all aspects of governance. We believe that, like the inauguration of the Emohua/Kalabari Road, even the original Trans- Kalabari Road will be ready for use in record time.
“We are particularly elated that the Trans-Kalabari Road will also pass through the Bakana / Fouchee Island and would link Fouchee Community to unprecedented development and greater economic opportunities in the State.
“Fouchee is pleased to announce her resolve to facilitate the construction of the Trans-Kalabari Road in particular, and to generally support the administration of Gov Siminialayi Fubara. We pray that the God of the long oppressed people of Rivers State will give our Governor the enablement to transform the State and leave a legacy like Gov.Diete Spiff within the eight years heaven has allotted to him.
