
The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Promise Reginald has kicked started a Hardship Relief Initiative tagged “Belle First”, a comprehensive program aimed at providing urgent support to two thousand vulnerable individuals in the area.
Rt. Hon Reginald who spoke to newsmen shortly after flagging-off the program, said the initiative is inline with his commitment to the wellbeing of Omuma people, particularly those affected by hardship and economic challenges faced in the local government over the years.
He noted that the two thousand beneficiaries will be given cash to improve their livelihood across the ten wards in Omuma local government.
The Chairman said, “Through the “Belle First” initiative, we will provide financial assistance to vulnerable households. Our goal is to alleviate the suffering of our residents and help them overcome the difficulties they have being facing for many years.
Rt . Hon Reginald expressed commitment to providing a safety net for the people of Omuma in times of need.
“We believe that no one should face hardship alone, and we are dedicated to supporting our people across the various communities in times of need.”
He noted that the program will be on throughout his tenure as chairman of council.
