Residents of Kelowna and neighbouring cities in British Columbia,Canada have expressed fear and uncertainty following the spread of two wild fires which began Tuesday 16 July and are said to be burning out of control north of Spences bridge.
According to Kelowna Capital News,” The Cooks Fiery Indian Band has issued an evacuation order for IR #6 Niceolton as well as an evacuation alert for IR #5,5A and 19 on Tuesday.
“The two wild fires are now being referred to as the Shetland Creek and Telt Creek wildfires

According to an update by the BC wildfire Service ( BCWS) ground crews have been deployed to tackle eventualities.
