
Rivers Stats Governor, Siminilayi Fubara says his government is doing all it can to uplift the life of the people.
Gov. Fubara made this known on Thursday while addressing protesters in Government House..
He said “What we request from you is to support the government to make life easy for you.
“We will support you but we won’t support enemies of progress.
The governor said he understands what is going on is worrisome but said in a little while, things will normalise.

In an interview with an Arise reporter on his impression of the protest,the governor said, he aligned with the pain of the protesters in the area of cost of living, high medical bills, exchange rate but feared that elements against good governance in the state could hijack the process but added” We are equal to the task”.
