The All Progressives Congress APC in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has suspended Senator Heineken Lokpobiri,Minister of State for Petroleum Resources
The announcement was made by the chairman of the party ,Mitin Eniekeniemi at a press briefing on Friday.in Yenegoa, the state capital.
Lokpobiri and some members of the party are alleged to be involved in anti-; party activities
Recently,at a ceremony in Port Harcourt, Lokpobiri,a former Speaker of the Bayelsa House of Assembly, Senator and Former Minister of State for Agriculture told a mixed – bag of political audience how a serving Minister on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party influenced his appointment to the Tinubu cabinet.
There has also been a gale of defections from the APC to the PDP in his Ekeremor local government area.
