The Chairman of the Etche Local Government Council,Mr Uzodinma Nwafor has announced Mr Ogbonna Nwobilor as Secretary to the Council.
The announcement which was made Tuesday afternoon came ten days after Nwafor was elected and sworn into office as Chairman of the Local Government Council.
Nwobilor, a thorough bred in politics at the grassroots, once worked as legislative aide at the National Assembly. He also worked as a non – academic staff in a Rivers college
Fondly called “Nuga” by his friends, Nwobilor is popular with the youths and elders in Etche communities.
Victor Otamiri,a youth told current matters how excited the people are with the appointment of Nwobilor as Secretary to the council.
He added ” Nwobilor’s appointment is appointment well deserved”
For Nwankwo,a teacher, the appointment of Nwobilor is good news. I wish him God’s guidance ” he said.
