President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, for a three-day official visit.
The Nigerian leader, accompanied by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, landed at the Orly Airport in Paris around 5:10 pm (local time) on Wednesday and was received by the French Guard Republican.
Tinubu’s visit, the fifth since assuming office 18 months ago, is at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Presidency says talks would focus on key areas such as agriculture, security, education, health, youth empowerment, innovation and energy transition.
It said the visit would also strengthen political and economic ties between the two nations.
During his stay, the President and First Lady are scheduled to visit the historic Les Invalides military museum before meeting Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron at the Élysée Palace.
