The White House Office of Management and Budget has rescinded its decision to pause federal aids and loans.
According to CNN, the decision is contained in a memo it obtained from a Trump administration official.
The Trump administration had on Monday announced a freeze on federal funding which affects many facets of American life. However,a US federal judge, temporarily blocked part of Trump’s pause on loans and grants on Tuesday,a few hours before it was to take effect.
Trump’s action generated reactions from various groups including charity organisations ,rights and advocacy group and some members of the Congress and Senate who warned of the consequences of such action on the vulnerable people.
