In a renewed commitment to ensuring border development and enhanced economic growth, the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, has met with the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA), led by its Executive Secretary, Dr. George Kelly.
The meeting, which was held in his office in Abuja on Friday, focused on discussing ongoing projects in border regions and strengthening inter-agency collaboration.
The Minister applauded the efforts of the Agency and stressed the need for long-term funding strategies to sustain development.
He also underscored the economic potential of well-managed border areas, calling for intensified security and investment.
Speaking earlier, the
Executive Secretary,
Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA), Dr. George Kelly, stated that their visit was to update the Honourable Minister about the ongoing projects in border regions
and to further strengthen inter-agency collaboration.
Dr. Kelly provided updates on BCDA’s initiatives, highlighting the agency’s role in enhancing infrastructure and security in border communities.
