Says TV Statements made Alleging meeting with Gov Bala Muhammad And Militants made under duress , fingers Rivers Emergency Government, Abuja Cabal.
Wife of the former Head of Service in Rivers State,Mrs Florence Nwaeke has denied reports that her husband,Dr George Nwaeke would make a statement disparaging Gov Siminilayi Fubara.
Nwaeke, in a Channel TV programme alleged that as an insider, who slept in Government House at times he was privileged to be in the know of plans by Gov Fubara’s support for Gov. Bala Muhammad’s presidential ambition in 2027
Nwaeke also alleged that the old House of Assembly was brought down on the orders of the governor with plans to engage militants to bomb oil facilities in the Niger Delta.
But speaking to a reporter in a video which has gone viral,Mrs Nwaeke said that her husband was first asked to sign a document that implicated Gov Fubara of refusing to declare N15Billion
According to her, when he saw what they were up against the innocent man ( Fubara) , he offered to resign as Head of Service.
Speaking further and expressing worries over what situation the husband might be, Mrs Nwaeke said a friend of her husband, invited him to Abuja and the next thing she saw was the claims he made against the governor on TV, stating that that was not her husband’s statement. She therefore, called on Nugerians to come to her aid .
The confession of the woman highlights how low people can stoop to blackmail Gov Fubara in order to oust him out of power.
The question is What has Fubara done to be so treated this way? Why are the so – called powers at the state and national levels determined to wreck Rivers State?
President Bola Tinubu had on March 18 imposed a State of Emergency in Rivers State described by lawyers and those conversant with the constitution as an aberration and should never have been considered.
The president claimed in his broadcast to the nation that the Emergency rule was gazetted and sent to the National Assembly.
However, the gazetted document was made public more than one week after the declaration of the emergency rule and it received the approval of the National Assembly.
Calls for reversal of the president’s action against Gov Fubara, his deputy and the members of the State House of Assembly by prominent members of the public have fallen on deaf ears..
