A new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), has been deployed and officially assumed duty.
She is by name ASP Mohammed Halima Pamela. She takes over from SP. Mustapha Abdulkadir, who has been redeployed to Kaduna State Police Command for other Police duties.
The newly appointed PPRO, ASP Mohammed Halima Pamela, hails from Edo State Nigeria and she is a graduate of Sociology from the Nigeria Police Academy, Regular Course 3.
She has served in Ekpoma Division, Edo state Command as the Administrative Officer as well as Surveillance 2 Team leader.
It is worthy of note that, ASP Mohammed Halima is a member of the International Association of Women Police (IAWP).
It may also interest you to know that ASP Mohammed Halima holds a fellowship Certificate in Security and Forensic Studies of Nigeria and also a Certificate in Advanced Peace and Reconciliation as well as Professional Advanced Diploma in Criminology and Security.
She has undergone the following trainings:
Specialized trainings in Advanced Detective Course (ADC) at the Police Staff College Jos, Plateau State.
The Police Mobile Force Training at Ila-Oragun, Osun state.
The Police Combat Training Mopol 5, Benin among others.
The new PPRO will serve as the official spokesperson for Zone 7 Police Headquarters Abuja and will be responsible for managing the Zone’s image, Public Relations and communication with the members of the public.
In her new role, ASP Mohammed Halima Pamela pledged to maintain an open-door policy and promote active engagement with members of the public.
She called on all well meaning citizens and stakeholders to collaborate with the Zone, emphasizing her readiness to serve 24/7.
