Fans of the #falexxforevercouple were dismayed by the news about the couple splitting.Fancy Acholonu who is a Nigerian based US model called off her engagement with Nigerian actor Alexx Ekubo.
The couple had recently announced their engagement in May after keeping their relationship from the public eye for years. Fans began to suspect the couple had broken up when Fancy Acholonu had deleted all pictures of her ex from her page.
The traditional wedding was set to hold in Imo State on November 20 with the church wedding being November 27 2021 in Lagos.Fancy took it up to instagram to confirm that indeed the engagement had been called off.
On her post, she stated “Hey guys,I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement ,and I have called of the wedding with Alexx Ekubo.” She acknowledged that it would come as a shock to many people but however she believed she had made the best decision for herself.
She also stated that it was important for everyone to find their happiness and live in their truth.She asked the public to also respect her privacy and that of her family.
Alexx Ekubo has however, remained silent on this matter.
