A newly registered non-governmental and non-profit making organization, South, West, East, North of Nigeria (SOWENON) Coordinated Initiative, will commence activities on Monday, October 4, 2021, geared towards repositioning Nigeria for good governance.
A statement by the Director, Communications, Elder Taiwo Shobajo, says there will be a news conference at OZAS Suites and Garden, Karu, Abuja at 10.00am.
According to the statement, the association will launch its mission and vision to the nation at the event.
Elder Shobajo in the statement stated that the organization is being floated to complement government’s laudable efforts in the area of good governance, empowerment programmes through capacity building; provision of humanitarian support and promotion of civic education among others.
The Director of Communications further explained that the ultimate goal of the outfit is to work towards making Nigeria a country of our dream.
He added that the Chairman of Board of Trustees of SOWENON lnitiative, Dr Sam Jenfa, who is unavoidably absent due to urgent assignments outside Nigeria, will be represented by his Vice, Rev ( Dr) Sunday Onuche, JP at the event.
