A High Court sitting in Abuja has sentenced Faisal Maina,son of the defunct Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Force Team Abdulrahsheed Maina to 14 years in prison over fraud
The twenty- two year- old jumped bail in 2020 leading to the revocation of his bail
The trial Judge, Justice Okon Abang in a ruling on November 24,2020,also issued a bench warrant for security agencies to arrest him wherever he is found.
In February 2021, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC who arraigned Faisal on October 25,2019 had told the court that Faisal fled to the United States through Niger Republic.
His father,Abdulrahsheed Maina who is also standing trial over N2.1 billion fraud equally jumped bail and fled to Niger Republic but was intercepted by a combined security team and brought back to the country to face charges.
