Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has said that he will energe the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the forth coming Presidential primaries, God helping him.
The Governor made this known at the Thanksgiving Service on the occasion of the Victory at the Supreme Court in the Oul Wells Dispute between Rivers and Imo States on Sunday at St Paul’s Cathedral,Diobu,Port Harcourt.
Wike, assertive of his chances at the Party primaries and General Election,said no aspirant will beat him in the game.
The governor recalled that Rivers and her neighbor,Imo had been living peacefully until Emeka Ihedioha became governor of Imo state.
The governor said that Rivers State helped Ihedioha to become governor and wondered how someone who immensely benefitted from the state would betray the state.
Consequently,he declared” If you know Rivers State has helped you in any way and you conspire against the state, you will pay for it.adding betrayal, Denial are not things anyone should live with.
He lambasted the National Boundary Adjustment Commission for trying to cede some parts of Rivers State to Imo State saying corruption has eaten deep into the fabrics of the National Boundary Adjustment Commission and called in President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the commission and other federal agencies.
Governor Wike said the Thanksgiving Service was organised to give glory to God for the victory for Rivers State.

In his homily, the Bishop of Niger Delta North, Rt Rev. Wisdom Budu Ihunwo stressed the need for giving thanks to God drawing testaments of victory from scriptures where Israelites were delivered from captivity of Egypt.
