The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu has submittted the name of Alhaji Kadir Ibrahim Masari as his running mate to the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC)
INEC had fixed Friday June 17 as deadline for submission of the list of presidential candidates and running mates.
It was gathered that Tinubu dropped the name of Alhaji Masar,a kinsman of the governor of Katsina state, Amino Bello Masari as a place holder ahead of Friday deadline.
Masari served as National Welfare Secretary of the APC during the tenure of Adams Oshiomole
Reports indicate that Tinubu is still consulting over the choice of a running mate and would replace Masari as soon as the search is over.
