Funeral Service for Britain’s longest serving Monarch, Queen Elizabeth ll is in progress at the Westminster Abbey in London.
World leaders, monarchies, the Commonwealth are attending the programme to bid final farewell to the queen who died on September 8 ,2022 at the age of 96.
Among the over one hundred leaders sited at the funeral were the US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, South African President ,Cyril Ramaphosa, British Prime Minister,Liz Truss and others.
Nigeria’s delegation led by the Vice President,Prof. Yemi Osinbajo are also attending.
England was said to have prospered under Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years reign .
She is survived by her heir, King Charles lll, his siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her remains will be interred at the Windsor castle in a quiet ceremony
