A Female resident of the Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja said to be a Professor,,Kasoba Duke has been arrested for ordering the beating up of her security aid,a policewoman on Tuesday evening
A statement by the FCT Police Command said the incident happened at number 245 Jessey Jackson street,Garki.
The command said in the statement entitled “
SERIOUS ASSAULT ON POLICE OFFICER ,ARRESTS OF SUSPECTS ON 20/9/2022
” At about 1930 hrs a distress call was received at Garki Division from COMPOL FCT of an incident at 245 Jessey Jackson Garki. Police operatives immediately raced to the scene where it was discovered that one Kasoba Duke ‘F’ of 245 Jessey Jackson street Garki was seen assaulted her police orderly W/ Inspr Teju Moses. The victim sustained serious injury to her head.
“She was rushed to Muhammadu Buhari Hospital for medical treatment.
“The said Kasoba and her house maid are currently in custody undergoing interrogation . Investigation in Progress ” it said.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police has personally directed that the woman be charged to court.
