The campaign office of APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kasim Shettima in Osogbo, the Osun State capital was on Sunday attacked by gunmen
Current Matters gathered that the attack happened a few hours after former governor Adegboyega Oyetola inspected the office in Ilesha.
The hoodlums reportedly stormed the office around 9:30am with guns, cutlasses, charms and other dangerous weapons destroying the billboard in front of the office and doors and windows.
A former Commissioner of Works and Transport in the state, Remi Omowaye, described the attack as diabolic and inhumane.
Osun State is governed by Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP). Adeleke defeated Adegboyega Oyetola in Saturday, July 16 Gubernatorial election, but the All Progressives Congress APC disputed the outcome of the election and challenged it at the State Electoral Tribunal stating that the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System ( BVAS) was not used in 749 polling units in the election..
