The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi state,Rt Hon, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has won the gubernatorial election held on March 18,2023.
He polled a total of 199,331 votes to beat his closest challenger,Dr Ifeanyi Odii of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP who received 80,186 votes
In the keenly contested election, the All Progressives Grand Alliance ,Prof. Bernard Odoh scored 52,189 while the candidate of the Labour party , Splendor Eze – Oko got 6,115.
