The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Saturday’s governorship election in Adamawa State inconclusive.
The commission made the announcement on Monday evening.
Top contenders for the coveted state seat are PDP candidate, Ahmadu Fintiri, incumbent governor of the state and Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani of the All Progressives Congress APC.
Results of 20 local government areas have been announced with the PDP candidate slightly ahead while result in one local government area is being awaited before INEC declared the election inconclusive .
