A woman was on Friday arrested at Ijede community in Ikorodu,Lagos State,after her husband,Isiaka Raheem made an official report at the Ijede Police Station.
Nimat Raheem, first wife and nursing mother was arrested by her husband Isiaka for allegedly causing injury on his younger wife”s ear.
Isiaka said trouble started when he brought his younger wife home for Sallah celebration as he could only afford to buy a “ram’ for this year’s celebration.
The suspect on her part said she didn’t bite the the other woman’s ear but only dragged her
earing to protect “her home against intruders”
The DCO at Ijede Police Station disclosed that Nimat is being detained,but not locked up in the cell because of her baby and would be released when her relation or friend reports for her bail.He added that her husband has said he doesn’t want her back in his house.
The DCO further said that doctor has confirmed that the victim’s eardrum was affected and is receiving medical attention.
The accused discosed that she had been married to her husband for 15years and the union is blessed with five children.
