The National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has received the Plateau State Gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe who was announced as the winner of the Plateau State 2023 Governorship Election by the Appeal Court.

Goshwe ( APC,) was declared the governor of the state by a three – member panel of Justices in Abuja on Sunday afternoon.
The court overruled the decision of the State Election Petition Tribunal and sacked Mr Caleb Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party on the grounds that his nomination was not done in accordance with the law.
The Tribunal had affirmed Muftwang’s declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC as winner of the March 18 Governorship election in Plateau state.
But the appellant court voided Mutfwang’s victory
However, Mutfwang has revealed that he would approach the next window of appeal ( Supreme Court) to get justice.
So far, two state governors in former APC strongholds have been sacked by the Court of Appeal while fresh elections stare another in the face
They are Abba Kabirr Yusuf(NNPP )of Kano, Caleb Mutfwang( PDP) and Dauda Lawal ( PDP) whose election was declared inconclusive.
