Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has said that the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC Adams Oshiomole, and the APC governorship candidate in the forthcoming governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-iyamu, have integrity problem as neither of them had publicly refuted accusations made that impugned their characters.
Wike who disclosed this to Newsmen in Port Harcourt stated that
Oshiomole had said ” Ize-iyamu was a fake pastor, the man is a cultist, and deformed his fellow student.Neither has Ize-iyamu come to say no iwas never a cultist, Neither has Oshiomole come to say that all the things he said about Ize-iyamu, I fabricated the stories. therefore Edo people forgive me for telling lies.”
“APC government charged Ize-iyamu for corruption, the same APC government is saying no he has not been found guilty.l can’t believe this. So people will now know that there is no fight for corruption anywhere by the government.its mere witch hunting.”
According to the governor, they have information which suggested that the APC has a game plan to either prevent the Edo election from holding or rig the election in collaboration with Security, saying it won’t stand.
“We have gathered enough intelligence on what they intend to do and we can tell you we will scuttle it.” He accused the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC of making attempt to rig the election in favour of the APC.
“What they want to do is to make sure that there is no violence where elections would not hold, and then by November, Obaseki’s tenure would have ended.That is why they went ahead to do the illegal inauguration.of their own Speaker of the House of Assembly” ..
