President Bola Tinubu has given members of his cabinet a holiday break from Thursday 21st December to Wednesday 20th January 2024.
This is contained in a circular by the Federal Ministry of Works signed by Senator David Umahi, the Minister of Works.
Accordingly, the ministry has announced closure of office from Friday December 22 to Sunday, January 7.
It said that the permanent secretary and the Director Human Resources would within the period “arrange for the required essential staff that will be permitted to work in the Offices and within the Federal Ministry of Works compound
It added that should there be need for any Director to work , the Permanent Secretary and the Director, Human Resources must be notified and permission granted otherwise no official function is required within the period.
