The Oyo State Police Command on Monday paraded 21 suspected Yoruba Nation agitators at the Oyo State Police Headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan.
The suspects including a Woman and two elderly men were arrested by a joint Security Force at the State Secretariat Complex while trying to take over the State Assembly
Confirming the arrest,the State Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Hamzat, while speaking to reporters on the arrest of the 21 suspected agitators , warned other individuals with intent to distabilise the state to leave the state.
Hamzat said that the offence the suspects committed is treasonable felony adding that investigation is still ongoing.
