Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja has upturned his ruling that compels the police to arrest Edison Ehie, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State,Sir Siminilayi Fubara.
Nwite had on January 31,2024 issued a warrant for the arrest of Ehie and five others over alleged involvement in the burning of the State House of Assembly on October 29,2023.
However, the judge on Thursday struck out the order of warrant arrest on the basis that it lacked merit.
