The All Progressives Congress,APC Bauchi State Chapter says reports of a seized property ,plot 298 Wuye District, Abuja linked to the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammad and his family by the ICPC is enough for him to resign.
The Party in a press release signed by the Chairman of the media committee of APC in the State, Comrade Sabo Muhammad and Secretary Mallam Saadu Umar urged the governor to toe the path of honour and quit office.
The Independent Ccorrupt Practices Commission ICPC had said that the Bauchi Governor unlawfully allocated to himself and family a property belonging to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture while he was serving Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
Meanwhile the Bauchi State Government has dismissed the report by the ICPC describing it as false and misleading.
In a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mukhtar Gidado, the government refuted the ICPC report saying it raises a fundamental issue of human rights and the rule of law.
Gidado said that the said school Zinaria International School had been operational long before the governor was appointed FCT Minister.
