The National Executive Council?NEC) of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) has expelled former National Vice Chairman of the party,Hilliard Eke from the party.
Etas expulsion followed his failure to withdraw all legal cases filed against the party.
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai made this known to newsmen on Tuesday ,at the end of the party’s NEC meeting at the presidential villa,Abuja.
NEC also extended the tenure of the caretaker commitee by six months and dissolved party organs at unit,ward local government,state and zonal levels.
The party’s highest organ directed that new members be granted waivers in order to enable them to contest election without going through the previously mandated 2 years wait to contest election.
