Earlier today,a viral video posted by Boko Haram showed some young boys in the forest with the insurgents. One of them who spoke pleaded with the governmentt to do what it can through peaceful means to free them from their abductors.
Eme, a lecturer, who spoke with current matters said the Kankara abduction further revealed features of a failed state.
He said “check out countries lkie Somalia and others, you would understand that Nigeria is only a step away from becoming like those states.
“It is only a matter of time that what happened in Kankara will be forgotten. After all, Chibok girls have been forgotten. Leah Sharibu has also been forgotten When a bigger abduction or sad tragedy occurs, the government and the people just move on. Nigeria is a sad commentary “
“Iam disappointed that the President has neither made any move to the school where the abduction took place nor address parents of the abducted children . This is unpresidential and quite unfortunate” he said
