Social media platform, Twitter has suspended the account of President Trump indefinitely for inciting violence.
On Thursday Facebook suspended the president from its platforms following the insurrection at the Capitol Hill
Its CEO,Mark Zukerburg had said the social media was banning Trump for using its platforms to forment a violent riot at Washington DC.
Twitter’s permanent suspension of Trump comes after his recent tweets which justified his stance on election fraud and further incitement of his supporters against the American people and institutions.
“
His tweet reads” 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form”
In another tweet, he indicated his unwillingness to attend Joe Biden’s inauguration
” To all those who have asked,I will not be going to the inauguration on January 20th
Tweeter viewed his staying away from Biden’s inauguration to mean plans for more violence and further exposed his hold that the election was not credible.
Same Friday,Congress came up with a draft Article of impeachment for” incitement of insurrection.”which is being fast tracked to remove Trump from office.
The House is expected to introduce the impeachment resolution on Monday.
