The Nigerian Governors Forum NGF has scheduled a meeting for Wednesday to discuss the second wave of the deadly coronavirus in the country.
One of the issues on the front burner is vaccination of the citizens.
The federal government had in December assured Nigerians of taking delivery of the first 100,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines from January 2021 but going forward to the end of January, there is no indication that the government plan is feasible.
The Spokesman of the NGF,Abdulrazaq Bello-Makindo in a statement on Monday, said the Chairman of the Governor’s PTF Committee and Governor of Delta State,Ifeanyi Okowa will brief the Forum on the second wave of the Covid-19 , the vaccines and other information available at the 23rd virtual meeting scheduled for 2 pm.
The statement said the Chairman of the Forum,Gocernor Kayode Fayemi will brief the Forum on pressing national problems and all pending natters that have remained inconclusive .
