Nigerian film maker, Akinola Davies jr has unveiled his short film titled”Lizard” at the ongoing Sundance film festival .
The Sundance film festival is an annual film festival organised by the Sundance institute. It takes place in January in Park City,Utah,Salt Lake City at the Sundance Resort, and is the largest independent film festival in the United States
It includes competitive categories, documentary and dramatic films,both feature length and short films,in which awards are given as well as out- of- competition categories for showcasing new films
“Lizard “is the only Nigeriian film being presented at the ongoing 2021 edition of the Sundance film festival.
A thrilled maker of the film,Davies Jr, took to his Instagram page saying he was grateful for the great achievement.

“I am thrilled for all the cast and crew to announce that our World premier of LIZARD is@ sundance org2021 Sundance Film Festival.
He said the film can be accessed on screens or in communites from JAN 28-FEB 3, 2021.
