Former US President, Donald Trump’s struggle to secure the services of lawyers willing to take his second impeachment case suffers set back as five impeachment defense attorneys have left less than two weeks before commencement of trial.
The reason for the withdrawal it was learnt was as a result of disagreement over Trump’s legal strategy.
The implication of this is that the former president who is clinging to his election result fraud absurdity is without legal representation moreso,as legal briefs starts next week few days to beginning of trial.
Two of the lead attorneys,Batch Bowers and Deborah Barbier are no longer in the team.Josh Howard recently added to the team, has also left. Jonny Gasser and Greg Harris have also taken their leave.No other attorneys have announced willingness to take up Trump’s impeachment defense.
