The Kwara Poilce Command says it has rescued three abducted farm managers abducted on March 22, 2021 .
The Command’s Public Relations Officer,Ajayi Okasami ,disclosed this in a statement on Friday, in Ilorin
Okasami said the victims were rescued unhurt on March 25,at 2330 hrs by operatives under the directive and supervision of the Commissioner of Police,CP Mohammed Lawal Bagega.
He said that the kidnappers inability to withstand the pressure placed on them by the command, made them to abandon their victims and fled.
The Police Spokesman pointed out that effort are still ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspects adding that the victims though traumatized,are in stable frame of mind and are being attended to by the command’s doctors.
The farm managers rescued are Dr Julius Owoeye,Akeem Ajadi and Bola Adedoye,all workers of Bafford Morola’s farms located at Elega via Pampo in Asa Local Government Area of the state.
