Gates of courts across the country were on Monday morning under lock and key following the Industrial action embarked upon by the Judiciary Staff Union of
Nigeria ( JUSUN)
The Federal High Court in Abuja was not open, so also was the High court and the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt.
The strike also affected sitting in Customary courts at the Local Government Areas.
A man who had gone to the customary Court in Okrika in defence of a suit told current matters that the court did not sit as a few staff who had lurked around to ensure compliance with the strike told him bluntly,” We are on strike,”.
At the court of Appeal in Port Harcourt, the workers simply stayed away from work.

The Judiciary workers embarked on the Industrial action to demand for autonomy of the Judicial arm of government.
