Amaechi inspects progress of work on Lagos- Ibadan Railway

The Minister was accompanied on the inspection by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Magdalene Ajani the Chairman of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, Ibrahim Alhassan Musa and the Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, Fidet Okhiria.
On Friday, Amaechi told the Press during the 2020 Ministerial Press Briefing of the Ministry of Transportatlion that the double standard guage rail lines with extension to Apapa Sea Port was nearing completion.
He stated that no nation had been able to grow to achieve its potentials without an efficient and effective transportation system.
